Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Vincent Ohenhen, Staten Island
Junior | Sprints | Staten Island, N.Y.
Ohenhen set a new College of Staten Island program record in the 200m as he won the event in a field of 82 at this past weekend’s TCNJ Invite and Multi. His time of 21.90 was also the best in the conference this week and is the second-best time in the event for an ECC runner this outdoor season.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Emmanuel Mena Jimenez, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Throws | West Haverstraw, N.Y.
Mena Jimenez won both the shot put (season-best 15.39m) and hammer throw (57.07m) events and placed second in the discus (46.42m) at the TCNJ Invite and Multi last weekend. The discus performance met the NCAA Division II Provisional Mark and leads the ECC while the shot put performance ranks second in the conference.
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Lainie Smith, D’Youville
Sophomore | Distance | Lancaster, N.Y.
Smith took home a first-place finish in a field of 25 and set a new personal record in the 5000m with a time of 18:33.47 at the Brockport Multi and Invitational. That performance ranks third in the ECC and fifth in the NCAA East Region this spring.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Emily Strunk, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior | Throws | Stroudsburg, Pa.
Strunk won the shot put (12.89m) in a field of 34 and placed sixth in the discus (34.11m) at the TCNJ Invite and Multi last weekend.

Men's
Jayden Bennermon, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Jumps | Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Bennermon placed second in both the long jump (6.72m) and triple jump (13.31m) events and placed fourth in the high jump (1.94m) at the TCNJ Invite and Multi last weekend. The senior from Poughkeepsie, N.Y. also took fifth in the 4x100m relay (44.48) along with teammates Miles Fisher, Leelan Maxwell, and Christan Watson.
Connor O’Brien, Daemen
Senior | Distance/Steeplechase | Hamburg, N.Y.
O'Brien placed third in the 3,000m steeplechase at the Brockport Multi and Invitational. Out of 14 entrants, O’Brien crossed in a Daemen program-record time of 9:57.19, eclipsing the previous best time of 10:07.00 he set at the same event last spring. The only sub-10:00 3000m steeplechase in the ECC at this point in the spring, his time tops the ECC by over 45 seconds and sits as the third-fastest performance in the NCAA East region this spring.
Kadeem Patterson, Queens
Freshman | Bronx, N.Y.
Hosting the Knights Spring Opener on Friday afternoon, Patterson won the 200m (22.68) and placed second in the 100m (11.27).
John Ray, Queens
Junior | Bellerose, N.Y.
Hosting the Knights Spring Opener on Friday afternoon, Ray placed second in the 3000m with a time of 9:24.73.
Owen White, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | Distance | Lockport, N.Y.
White took eighth place in the 5000m invitational race at the Bucknell Bison Outdoor Classic. The senior broke his own program record with a time of 14:25.26, which leads the ECC and NCAA East Region by over 22 seconds.

Jenna Capolupo, D’Youville
Freshman | Jumps | Wheatfield, N.Y.
Capolupo took home a second-place finish in the long jump with a score of 5.39m at the Brockport Multi and Invitational. Capolupo also finished third and set personal records in the 100m and 200m with times of 12.57 and 26.21, respectively.
Melia Couchman, Roberts Wesleyan
Freshman | Pole Vault | Herkimer, N.Y.
Couchman won the pole vault event in a field of 14 at the Brockport Multi & Invitational. The freshman cleared 3.76m (12’ 4”).
Khareena Primus, Queens
Senior | St. Andrew, Grenada
Hosting the Knights Spring Opener on Friday afternoon, Primus placed first in the 100m with a time of 12.77; her prelims time of 12.72 ranks fifth in the ECC and 17th in the NCAA East Region.
Alexis Rodriguez, Daemen
Sprints/Hurdles | Williamson, N.Y.
Rodriguez competed in the 100H and 400H at the Brockport Multi and Invitational and posted a top-five finish in both events. She placed second out of 13 in the 400H with a program-record time of 1:06.68, eclipsing the previous record of 1:07.11 set by Kyra Kress at the 2018 Cortland Please Stop Snowing Invitational. Her time is second in the ECC and third-best in the NCAA East Region this season. She also placed fourth out of 12 in the 100H with a time of 17.06 seconds.
Raechel Zielinski, D’Youville
Senior | Hamburg, N.Y.
Zielinski took home a first-place finish in the 800m with a time of 2:21.26 at the Brockport Multi and Invitational.
