Chloe Sromovski, Kutztown

Sromovski recorded a team-leading 21.56 frame average last weekend, helping Kutztown to a 7-2 record and sixth-place finish at the Chestnut Hill-hosted Griffin Baker Classic. Sromovski finished the tournament with a 90.4 percent overall fill percentage and a 60.6 percent strike percentage (57 strikes on 94 tries). Behind her play, Kutztown, which was ranked 22nd in the country at the time of the tournament, defeated No. 24 Delaware State in its opening match for its second victory over a nationally ranked opponent this season. The 2022-23 All-ECC First Team selection tops the Golden Bears in Baker (19.85) and traditional (18.73) frame average on the season. Kutztown is 33-16 overall and ranked 10th in the latest NTCA Division II/III Poll.
Rookie of the Week
Maggie Thompson, Bryant

Thompson was also vital to the success of the Bulldogs at the Griffin Baker Classic, as she averaged 19.72 for the weekend. She also had an overall fill percentage of 85 percent with a multi-pin makable conversion percentage of 95 percent.

Sophomore | Attleboro, Mass.
Hillman was crucial in the success of the Bulldogs at the Griffin Baker Classic, who finished fourth overall, the highest finish of all conference teams present at the tournament. She averaged 19.33 for the weekend with a strike percentage of 50% and a baker double average of 62 percent. As an anchor bowler, Hillman also had a 91% 10th-frame fill percentage.
