ECC Men's Volleyball Report - Week Five

Player of the Week

Phinehas Wiley, Dominican
Freshman | Outside Hitter | Cedarburg, Wisc.
In a 3-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent, Wiley had a team-high 13 kills, 15 points, and six digs. The Dominican freshman began the week with 10 kills, a .240 attack percentage, and two block assists in a 3-0 loss to SHU. Wiley leads the conference in attacks per set (8.38, sixth nationally), kills per set (3.33), and points per set (4.05).

Defensive Player of the Week

Noah Liousfi, Roberts Wesleyan
Sophomore | Middle | Fairfield, Conn.
Liousfi posted two blocks in each match against Thomas More and now leads the ECC with .83 blocks per set.

Setter of the Week

Luke Koster, Dominican
Freshman | Setter | Geneva, Ill.
Koster tallied 16 assists and seven digs in a 3-0 loss to SHU and followed with a match-high 31 assists to go with two service aces, one block assist, and one solo block in a 3-0 win over Mount Saint Vincent. The Dominican freshman ranks second in the conference in assists per set, with 7.73.
