Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Kouto Anyika, Holy Family
Sophomore | Sprints | Philadelphia, Pa.
Anyika defeated 51 sprinters to win the 200m with the fastest time in the ECC and fourth-fastest time in the NCAA East Region this season, a Holy Family-record 21.82 at Ursinus’ Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday. Anyika was also the a member of the 4x200m relay that took silver in 1:32.27.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Emmanuel Mena Jimenez, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Throws | West Haverstraw, N.Y.
In a field of Division I competition, Jimenez won the weight throw championship with a toss of 19.16m (62' 10 1/2”) at the Rutgers Scarlet Knights Open, defeating DI throwers from Rutgers, Monmouth, Sacred Hart, Princeton, and Lafayette in the process. The St. Thomas Aquinas senior once again hit the NCAA Division II provisional mark for the event (18.09m). Mena Jimenez also finished sixth in the shot put championship with a throw of 15.03m (49' 3 3/4”).
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Chantoya Thomas, Felician
Junior | Sprints | Spanish Town, Jamaica
Thomas recorded three first-place finishes at the DeSchriver Invitational - one individual and two relays. In the 400m, she finished first in a field of 20 at 59.39 for the Felician record; converted to a 58.61, the performance ranks second in the ECC and fifth in the NCAA East Region this season. Thomas also ran the second leg of the first-place 4x200m relay (1:46.01) and anchored the first-place 4x400m relay (4:04.48).
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Jenna Capolupo, D’Youville
Freshman | Jumps | Wheatfield, N.Y.
Capolupo hit the NCAA provisional mark in the long jump, going for 5.68m (18' 7 3/4”) at the SUNY Brockport Invitational & Multi. The performance was good for second overall, leads the ECC, and ranks second in the NCAA East Region this season.

Devin Jones, Felician
Junior | Multi-Events | Toms River, N.J.
Jones hit the NCAA provisional mark in the long jump at the DeSchriver invitational on Sunday with a distance of 7.14m (23' 5 1/4”) to finish second in the field 26. That performance ranks second in the ECC this season.
Terrence Jones, Holy Family
Senior | Hurdles/Jumps | East Orange, N.J.
Jones earned two medals at Ursinus’ Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday. The Holy Family senior won the triple jump with a mark of 14.29 (46' 10.75”), which ranks second in the ECC. He also took silver in the 60m hurdles after crossing in 8.37, which is also second-best in the ECC this season.
Ryan Karker, Roberts Wesleyan
Graduate Student | Middle Distance - Greece, N.Y.
Karker won the 800m in a field of 23 at the SUNY Brockport Invitational & Multi on Saturday with a meet-record time of 1:52.72. Karker now owns the three fastest 800m times in the ECC this season.
Kyle Spector, Georgian Court
Senior | Distance | Manalapan, N.J.
Spector ran a converted 2:33.96 for 1000m at the DeSchriver Invite over the weekend, winning the event in a field of 11 and moving into second in the ECC. His time in the event was also the fastest in the league this week.
Desi Stroud, Holy Family
Freshman | Jumps | Mays Landing, N.J.
Stroud won the long jump in a field of 23 with an NCAA provisional mark of 7.13 (23' 4 3/4”) at Ursinus’ Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday. That performance ranks third in the ECC this season. The freshman also took home silver in the triple jump after landing another collegiate PR of 13.70m (44' 11 1/2”).

Korryn Braxton-Young, Holy Family
Graduate Student | Throws | Newark, Del.
Braxton-Young won the shot put with the furthest toss in the ECC this season, a school record 12.38m, to top a field of 38 at Ursinus’ Frank Colden Invitational on Saturday. The mark broke her previous school record by .22m.
Kayla Cooper, District of Columbia
Sophomore | Brooklyn, N.Y.
Cooper remains at the top of the ECC 60m leaderboard after running 7.85 at the Liberty Open, placing 11th in a competitive field of 22.
Talia Ferguson, Felician
Senior | Multi-Events | Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.
Ferguson hit the NCAA provisional mark in the triple jump, going for 11.70m (38' 4 3/4”) at the DeSchriver Invitational to win the event in a field of 12. The performance ranks third in the ECC.
Kylee Odell, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | Middle Distance | Panama, N.Y.
Odell ran 3:01.85 in the 1,000m race to win first place in a field of 12 at the Brockport Multi & Invitational on Saturday. Converted to a 2:59.89, that time leads the ECC.
Kristen Oliver, Daemen
Freshman | Throws | Massena, N.Y.
Oliver placed second out of 48 entrants in the weight throw with a program-record toss of 15.31 meters, eclipsing the previous standard of 14.18 meters she set last weekend at the RIT January Friday Meet. She has improved her mark in the weight throw in each of Daemen's five meets this season, and Saturday's toss of 15.31 meters is tops in the East region so far this year.
Rain Sheppard, District of Columbia
Freshman | Distance | Brooklyn, N.Y.
Sheppard improved on her time in the 800m, running an ECC-best time of 2:20.02 at the Liberty Open to place sixth in a field of 88.
