Alahna Paige, Daemen

Capping off a milestone week, Paige broke Daemen's 10-year record for single-season three point field goals with three triples in Thursday's 82-68 win over UDC and finished the week averaging 23.5 points per game while helping the Wildcats to a first round bye in the ECC Tournament and a share of the ECC regular-season title. The senior guard shot 42 percent (16-of-38) from the field, 44 percent (8-of-18) from beyond the arc, and 77 percent (7-of-9) from the free throw line in Daemen's 2-0 week, totaling 24 points on Thursday against the Firebirds and 23 points in the Wildcats' final regular season home game against D'Youville. Across those two wins, Paige added 17 rebounds - all defensive - and nine assists.
Defensive Player of the Week
Angelina Barrera, Mercy
Sophomore | Forward | Gloucester City, N.J.
Barrera averaged 13.0 points per game with a team-high 7.5 rebounds and 4.0 steals per game in a 2-0 week for Mercy. The sophomore also averaged 1.5 blocks per game and shot 50.0 percent from the floor. The forward opened the week with 15 points, 10 rebounds (six defensive), five steals and two blocks in the 67-50 win over Queens on Wednesday and ended the week with 11 points, five rebounds and three steals in the 73-54 win at Molloy on Saturday.
Rookie of the Week
Jalea Abrams, Queens
Freshman | Guard | Elmira, N.Y.
Abrams averaged 21.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals over two games last week. Abrams began the week with 24 points, five rebounds, two assists, and two steals against Mercy on Wednesday evening before notching 19 points, three rebounds, and one assist against STAC on Saturday afternoon.

Dow had a double-double in each game last week including 12 points and 10 rebounds at CSI and 21 points and 10 rebounds against UDC.
Sarah Ericson, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior | Guard | Norwich, Conn.
Ericson averaged 7.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.5 steals per game over two contests last week for STAC. The junior guard picked up six points, grabbed 13 defensive rebounds, dished out three assists and forced a steal in 35 minutes in a 63-50 victory over Molloy before recording eight points, eight defensive rebounds, four assists and four steals in 30 minutes in a 71-48 win against Queens.
Erin Leary, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior | Forward | Carle Place, N.Y.
Leary averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game over two contests last week for STAC. The junior forward picked up 16 points, grabbed five rebounds, dished out seven assists and forced two steals in 38 minutes in a 63-50 victory over Molloy before recording 11 points, eight rebounds, six assists and three blocks in 40 minutes in a 71-48 win against Queens.
Gabby McDuffie, Daemen

McDuffie averaged 20 points and 5.5 rebounds per game in Daemen's 2-0 week. The senior guard shot a season-high 80 percent (8-of-10) from the field in her 21-point night and went 1-of-2 from beyond the arc while shooting 4-of-5 from the free throw line, adding three steals, two assists and two rebounds in Daemen's 82-68 win over UDC on Thursday, and shot 62 percent from the field while adding five rebounds, five assists and one block in her 19-point outing in Daemen’s 67-51 win over D’Youville on Sunday.
Destiny Ryles, District of Columbia
Junior | Guard | Windsor Mill, Md.
Ryles averaged 23.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 4.0 assists per game in a 1-1 week for the Firebirds. Ryles led all scorers with 31 points, shooting 40.9 percent from the field and 45.3 percent from beyond the arc, to go with eight rebounds, eight steals, and five assists to lead the Firebirds’ to a 76-63 win over Roberts Wesleyan.
Katie Wall, Mercy
Graduate Student | Guard | Wappingers Falls, N.Y.
Wall averaged a team-high 14.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game with 2.5 steals per game as Mercy went 2-0 on the week. The graduate student opened the week with eight points, four steals, five rebounds and a game-high 11 assists in the Mavericks’ 67-50 win over Queens on Wednesday. The guard ended the week with a game-high 20 points and 10 rebounds with three assists in Mercy's 73-54 win at Molloy on Saturday.
