ECC Softball Report - Week Two

Player of the Week

Ava Miller, D’Youville
Senior | First Base | Elma, N.Y.
Miller went 3-for-5 against Malone in the Saints’ opening game of the season, recording one RBI, one double, and one stolen base. Miller had 11 putouts at first base throughout four games played with zero errors and slugged at a clip of .375.

Rookie of the Week

Olivia Wanser, Staten Island
Freshman | Catcher/First Base | Westbury, N.Y.
Wanser went 4-for-7 with five RBI in Sunday's doubleheader against Goldey-Beacom. All four of the freshman's hits went for extra bases, including three doubles and a home run. Wander helped lead the Dolphins to an 11-10 win over the Lightning in game one with a 3-for-5 effort at the plate and drove in the lone CSI run in game two with a solo homer.

ECC Weekly Honor Roll

Isabella Mancino, D’Youville
Freshman | Outfield | Wynantskill, N.Y.
Mancino started all four games for the Saints this weekend, posting a 500% on base percentage and an .833 OPS to go with one stolen base. The D’Youville freshman broke up a no-hitter against Seton Hill with her first career double.
