ECC Men's Volleyball Report - Week Six

Player of the Week

Vieira recorded a .396 hitting percentage over two matches last week, including a .467 average in a 3-1 victory over Roberts Wesleyan. The St. Thomas Aquinas freshman totaled 27 kills, three service aces, nine digs, a solo block, and three block assists across seven sets.

Defensive Player of the Week

Santos totaled five assists and 13 digs over two matches last week. The Spartans’ freshman libero had three digs in a 3-0 non-conference win over Roberts Wesleyan before recording five assists and 10 digs in a 3-1 victory over the Redhawks the very next day.

La Jara totaled 70 assists (10.0 assists per set), one kill, a service ace, 20 digs, and a solo block over two matches last week. The Spartans’ freshman setter had 31 assists in a 3-0 non-conference win over Roberts Wesleyan, before recording 39 assists in a 3-1 victory over the Redhawks the very next day.
