Bill averaged 17.5 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per gam across a pair of wins at the Doc Jacobs Classic, hosted by Saint Michael's over the weekend. No. 4/No. 6 Daemen went 2-0 at the tournament to improve to 11-0 overall. Bill dropped a career-high 28 points on 13-of-15 shooting from the floor to go with six rebounds and two steals in the 84-65 win over Southern Connecticut State; he becomes the first Daemen player since Andrew Sischo (vs. St. Rose on November 27, 2021) to make 12 or more shots from the field. Bill followed up with nine points, seven rebounds, and two steals in the 69-61 win over Saint Michael’s.
Defensive Player of the Week
Hartnel Haye, St. Thomas Aquinas
Graduate Student | G/F | Camden, NJ
Haye had strong defensive week as STAC won a pair of non-conference home games. The graduate student guard/forward averaged 11.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.0 block per game for the Spartans. Against Georgian Court, he tallied 11 points, grabbed eight defensive rebounds, dished out an assist, and blocked two shots in 27 minutes in a 91-74 win before recording 12 points, 10 rebounds (seven defensive), and an assist in 23 minutes in an 86-71 victory against Jefferson. Haye shot 50.0 percent (11-of-22) from the field.
Rookie of the Week
Nathan Robertson, Mercy
Freshman | G | Boston, MA
Robertson averaged a team-high 28.5 points on 61.5 percent shooting with 7.5 rebounds and a team-high 6.5 assists per game in two games this week. The freshman opened the week with a career-high and game-high 29 points on 13-of-19 shooting with four rebounds and seven assists at Saint Michael's on Friday. The guard ended the week with a game-high 28 points on 11-of-20 shooting with a game-high 11 rebounds and a team-high six assists against Southern Connecticut State on Saturday.

Arnardo Camacho, Roberts Wesleyan
Junior | G | Bronx, NY
Camacho was the offensive leader for Roberts Wesleyan over the weekend, scoring 16 points off the bench against Tampa and adding 22 points in the narrow loss to Eckerd. For the weekend, Camacho had 38 points on 14-of-30 shooting (47.0 percent) with 13 rebounds, 12 assists, and a pair of steals. He was also 5-for-11 (45.0 percent) from three-point range.
Jaden Pena, Queens
Junior | F | Brooklyn, NY
In a 1-1 week for the Knights, Pena averaged 12.0 rebounds per game, including 15 (nine defensive) to go with two blocks, one steal, and a 12-point effort in a narrow two-point loss to Assumption. The Queens junior followed up with nine rebounds (six defensive) and a steal in a 70-64 road win over Holy Family.
Troy'reon Ramos, St. Thomas Aquinas
Junior | G | Pine Bluff, AR
Ramos averaged 14.5 points, 2.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game over two contests last week for STAC. The junior guard tallied 16 points, grabbed two rebounds, dished out three assists, and swiped a steal in 24 minutes in a 91-74 win over Georgian Court before recording 13 points, two rebounds, four assists, and three steals in 29 minutes in an 86-71 victory over Jefferson. Ramos shot 42.0 percent (10-of-24) from the field, 42.0 percent (5-of-12) from beyond the arc, and 57.1 percent (4-of-7) from the charity stripe.
Ethan Robertson, Mercy
Freshman | F | Boston, MA
Robertson averaged 18.5 points per game and a team-high 8.5 rebounds per game in two games this week. The freshman opened the week with 16 points and nine rebounds against Saint Michael's on Friday. The forward ended the week with 21 points on 9-of-18 shooting with eight rebounds against Southern Connecticut State on Saturday.
Khyrie Staten, District of Columbia
Junior | G | Baltimore, MD
Staten posted a team- and season-high 25 points on 56.3 percent shooting from the field in the Firebirds’ 80-72 loss to American International. He also dished out a team-high five assists along with three steals.
Jermaine Taggart II, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | G | Rochester, NY
Taggart II stepped in for the injured Malik Brooks and scored 36 points over the weekend in a pair of road games at Tampa and Eckerd. The RWU senior guard led the Redhawks with 19 points in the loss at Tampa and added 17 points in the last-second loss to Eckerd. Taggart II finished with 36 points on 14-for-25 (56.0 percent) shooting from the floor with six rebounds and a pair of steals. He was 3-for-5 from three-point range and a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line, extending his consecutive FT streak to 19. Taggart II scored the go-ahead jumper with seven seconds remaining against Eckerd before the Tritons scored a last-second three-pointer to win.
Jade Tse, Queens
Junior | G | Queens, NY
In a 1-1 week for the Knights, Tse averaged 12.5 points, 6.0 assists, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game. Against Assumption on Tuesday evening, the junior guard recorded 11 points and two steals before completing the week with his first career double-double with 14 points, 11 assists, two rebounds, and one steal in the 70-64 victory over Holy Family on Saturday afternoon.
Eric Tynes, Queens
Junior | G | Springfield, MA
In a 1-1 week for the Knights, Tynes averaged 16.0 points on 57.9 percent shooting with nine made three-pointers. In the victory 70-64 over Holy Family on Saturday afternoon, Tynes recorded a career-best 26 points with seven made three-pointers on 60.0 percent shooting from the field as Queens earned a non-conference victory to conclude the 2024 portion of the schedule.
