Redshirt Junior | G | Oxford, AL
Moore led all ECC Player of the Week nominees in points per game (25.50) and rebounds per game (7.50) and shot 61.3 percent (19-of-31) from the field in a 1-1 week for the Saints. The D’Youville redshirt junior guard opened the week with a career-high 33 points on 58.0 percent (11-of-19) shooting from the field and 83.0 percent (10-of-12) shooting from the stripe along with nine rebounds, two blocks, and one steal in DYU’s 90-86 win over Pittsburgh at Johnstown. In the 96-84 loss to Lake Erie, Moore dropped 18 points and six rebounds with two assists and a steal.
Defensive Player of the Week
Messiah Mallory, Staten Island
Senior | F | Watervliet, NY
Mallory turned in another strong defensive effort this week with averages of 13.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, and 2.5 steals per game. In CSI’s 86-71 loss to Post, the senior forward scored 10 points along with five rebounds, four steals, and two blocks. Mallory then lifted the Dolphins to an 84-82 win over Bentley with 17 points, six rebounds, two blocks, and a steal.
Rookie of the Week
Gene Anderson, District of Columbia
Freshman | C | Washington DC
Anderson averaged 10.5 rebounds per game, 9.0 points per game, and 4.0 blocks per game in a 1-1 week for the Firebirds. In the 80-67 win over Cheyney, the now three-time ECC Rookie of the Week posted a double-double on 12 rebounds and 12 points while making six blocks. In the 82-70 loss to Bloomfield, Anderson added nine rebounds, six points, and two blocks.

Malik Brooks, Roberts Wesleyan

Brooks continued to lead Roberts Wesleyan, topping the squad with 20 points to go with seven rebounds, five assists, and three steals against St. Michael’s.
JJ Chestnut, Staten Island
Junior | G | Watervliet, NY
Chestnut helped lead the Dolphins to a 1-1 week with averages of 18.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. His week was highlighted by his performance on Saturday against Bentley when he recorded 24 points, four rebounds, and five assists. He went on to hit the game-winner in the CSI victory over the Falcons and finished the week shooting 59% (16-27) from the field.
Damiri Lindo, Queens

In a 2-0 week for the Knights, Lindo averaged a team-high 13.0 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, and 2.0 steals per game as he recorded 26 points on 63.2 percent shooting, eight rebounds, four steals, and one block. In the victory over AIC, the senior recorded 10 points, five rebounds, two steals, and one block. In the 73-56 victory over Goldey-Beacom, Lindo notched 16 points on 7-of-8 with a blistering 87.5 percent shooting from the field to go with three rebounds and two steals.
Troy'reon Ramos, St. Thomas Aquinas

Ramos averaged 17.0 points, 2.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, and 2.5 steals per game over two contests last week for STAC. The junior guard tallied 22 points, grabbed three rebounds, dished out three assists and swiped four basketballs in 21 minutes in an 101-98 loss to Bridgeport before recording 12 points, two rebounds, four assists and a steal in 17 minutes in a 103-89 win over Dominican. Ramos shot 69 percent (11-of-16) from the field, 80.0 percent (8-of-10) from beyond the arc and 80.0 percent from the charity stripe.
Luis Risquez, St. Thomas Aquinas

Risquez averaged 8.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game over two contests last week for STAC. The senior forward tallied eight points, grabbed seven rebounds, dished out an assist, and swiped a basketball in 23 minutes in a 101-98 loss to Bridgeport before recording nine points, nine rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes in a 103-89 win over Dominican. Risquez shot 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from the field.
Jayden Seraphin, Queens

In a 2-0 week for the Knights, Seraphin averaged 12.0 points per game, 4.0 rebounds per game, 1.0 steals per game, and 1.5 blocks per game as he totaled 24 points, eight rebounds, three blocks, and two steals on 64.7 percent shooting. In the victory over AIC, the senior recorded a season-high 17 points on 8-of-12 shooting (66.7 percent) to go with four rebounds and one steal. In the 73-56 victory over Goldey-Beacom, Seraphin notched seven points on 60.0 percent shooting to go with four rebounds, one block, and one steal.
Payton Shumpert, Molloy
Junior | G | Syracuse, NY
The junior lit up the floor for the Lions, averaging 20.0 points per game on the back of a 52.0 shooting percentage, going 10-of-15 from distance. Against Georgian Court, Shumpert just missed a single-game record for Molloy, hitting seven three-pointers. The guard also averaged 5.0 rebounds per game.
Khyrie Staten, District of Columbia
Junior | G | Baltimore, MD
Staten averaged 19.5 points per game, 5.5 assists per game, 4.5 rebounds per game, and 4.0 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Firebirds. In the win over Cheyney, Staten posted a game-high 24 points, shooting 50.0 percent from the field with six assists and seven steals. In the loss to Bloomfield, Staten led UCD with 15 points, five assists, and five rebounds.
