COLONIA, NJ – No. 1 Daemen, No. 2 Queens, No. 3 Mercy, and No. 4 D’Youville are headed to the East Coast Conference Volleyball Championship, set for November 22 and 23 at Daemen’s Lumsden Gymnasium in Amherst, NY. The Wildcats and Knights, who shared the ECC Regular Season Championship, along with the Mavericks and Saints will compete for the conference trophy and auto bid to the 2024 NCAA Championship.

No. 1 Daemen (17-7, 9-3 ECC) will host the tournament for the fourth straight season. The three-time defending champion Wildcats have won six of their last seven matches heading into Friday evening’s semifinal.
The ‘Cats will face No. 4 D’Youville (11-15, 7-5 ECC), as the Saints will make the program’s first-ever ECC Tournament appearance.
Daemen and D’Youville split the regular-season match-ups. The Saints won on the road, 3-2, on October 10, marketing their first-ever victory over Daemen, while the Wildcats also won on the road, 3-1, on October 24.
The second semifinal will see No. 2 Queens (19-10, 9-3 ECC) take on No. 3 Mercy (15-9, 8-4 ECC).
The Knights make their third consecutive ECC Championship appearance and fourth since 2008 and will look for their second title in program history, having won the tournament once, back in 2003.
The Mavericks are back in the tournament for a fifth straight year on the tail of three wins in their last four contests. The Mavs have won the championship three times (1999, 2000 and 2001) in program history.
Mercy won both regular-season match-ups, 3-1 on October 19 and and 3-1 on November 16.
The tournament will start on Friday, November 22 with the No. 1 Daemen vs. No. 4 D’Youville match-up at 5:00 PM. No. 2 Queens and No. 3 Mercy will follow at 7:30 PM. The winners of the semifinal match-ups will move on to the final on Saturday, November 23 at 5:00 PM.
Tickets for each game of the championship can be purchased in advance here. Ticket prices will be $10 for general admission and $5 for senior citizens, students (with ID), and children 5 and up. Children under 5 will be admitted for free.
In addition, cash will not be accepted, so those wishing to purchase tickets at the venue must still use the ECC ticket website to purchase them (QR code to scan with a smartphone will be available at the gate).
