COLONIA, NJ – The University of the District of Columbia has earned the No. 10 seed for the upcoming NCAA Men's Soccer Super Region 1 Championship. The Firebirds will play No. 7 Post this Friday, November 22 at 3:00 PM at No. 2 Southern New Hampshire's Mark A. Ouellette Stadium in Hooksett, NH.

No stranger to battling as the lowest seed in the bracket, the No. 6 Firebirds defeated No. 3 Roberts Wesleyan, No. 2 Mercy, and No. 5 Molloy – all on the road – over the last 11 days to win their first-ever ECC Men's Soccer Championship title and earn the conference's automatic bid to NCAAs.

Despite a 1-5-2 start to the season, UDC now stands at 8-7-4 and is in the midst of a seven-match unbeaten streak.
