Men's Runner of the Week

Owen White, Roberts Wesleyan
Graduate Student | Lockport, NY

White was the top Roberts Wesleyan finisher at the very competitive Lewis University Conference Crossover event in Illinois. Paced by a 5:00.0 average mile, the RWU graduate student covered the 4.79m course in 24:50.8, good for 48th in a field of 339. 


Men's Rookie of the Week

Trevor Heitkamp, Roberts Wesleyan
Freshman | Fort Recovery, OH

Heitkamp shaved 15 seconds off his season-best 8k time as he clocked a 25:55.50 (5:10 mile average) at the Lewis University Conference Crossover event in Illinois.


Women's Runner of the Week

Sabrina Spezia, Molloy
Junior | Centereach, NY

Spezia topped all ECC competitors at the NJIT Highlander Challenge. The junior ran the 5k race with a tome of 19:15.3 (6:11.8 average mile) to place 13th in a field of 219, the best finish of all Division II athletes.


Women's Rookie of the Week

Carli Sheiffele, Molloy
Freshman | Mount Sinai, NY

Sheiffele produced a 14th-place finish at the NJIT Highlander Invitational. The rookie ran a time of 19:07.2 (6:12.4 average mile), topping all ECC-competing freshman and finished second among all conference contestants right behind teammate Sabrina Spezia.

Zachary Hall, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | Oakfield, NY

Hall posted a top-100 finish at the packed field of runners at the Lewis University Conference Crossover event in Illinois. He ran a 25:17.70 over 4.79m (5:05.4/mile) as he placed 95th in a field of 339. 

John Ray, Queens
Senior | Bellerose, NY

Competing in the NJIT Highlander Invitational, Ray recorded a career-best 8k time of 26:09.9 to earn a 12th-place finish in a field of 246. Ray’s finish was the highest among his ECC counterparts in the meet. 

Wayne Stephenson, Staten Island
Senior | Trelawny, Jamaica

Stephenson broke the CSI program record in the 8K at the NJIT Highlander Invitational.  The senior posted a time of 27:03.1, besting the previous record by 18 seconds. The time was also good for 27th overall in a field of 246 runners.

Rachel Horner-Richardson, Roberts Wesleyan
Junior | Cornish, NH

Rachel Horner-Richardson was the top Roberts Wesleyan runner at the challenging Lewis University Conference Crossover meet in Illinois. She earned a top-100 finish with a 3.71m time of 22:58.0 (6:11.5 average mile), finishing in the middle of a pack of 13 runners that crossed the line in a span of two seconds. She was 99th overall (out of 334 runners).

Ayesha Jarrett, District of Columbia
Senior | St. Ann, Jamaica

Jarrett covered the Goucher Coach Caslin Classic 6k in 28:07.9 to finish sixth in a field of 33.

Zoe Merryman, St. Thomas Aquinas
Sophomore | Mahwah, NJ

Merryman placed 15th overall (third among ECC competitors) at the NJIT Highlander Invitational, crossing the 5k course in 19:25.6 amongst a field of 219 finishers from Divisions I, II and III. Paced by Merryman, the Spartans finished seventh as a squad in a field of 31 with 203 points.

Rachel Mow, Queens
Junior | Esopus, NY

Competing in the NJIT Highlander Invitational, Mow recorded a career-best 5k time of 19:57.8 to notch a 25th-place finish in a field of 219. 

Lydia Roselund, Roberts Wesleyan
Junior | Lockport, NY

Roselund was the second Roberts Wesleyan runner in a packed field at the Lewis University Conference Crossover event in Illinois. She finished in 163rd position overall (out of 334 runners) with a 3.71m time of 23:30.6.
