Chloe Sromovski, Kutztown
Senior | Wilkes-Barre, PA
Sromovski earned All-Tournament honors and posted the Golden Bears' second-highest Baker frame average at last weekend's Mercyhurst Invitational to open the 2024-25 season. A two-time All-ECC First Team selection, Sromovski rolled three 200+ games with a high game of 236 to place fourth in the individual standings with a 205.2 average following Saturday's traditional matches. Her 236 score, which came in a 1,063-936 victory over Daemen, was the top game by any KU bowler on Saturday.
During Baker play on Sunday, Sromovski produced a 19.33 frame average across 54 frames. She led KU with 27 spares and converted 25 of 29 makeable spares (86.2%). Kutztown finished the tournament with a 6-4 record, including a win over No. 12 Mount St. Mary's. The Golden Bears return to action this weekend at the Bud Whitman Memorial.
Rookie of the Week
Cassandra Westphal, Daemen
Freshman | Spencerport, NY
Westphal averaged 163.5 pins per game, playing in two traditional matches at the Mercyhurst Invitational. The Daemen freshman knocked down 174 pins in her collegiate debut against No. 25 Niagara and took down 153 pins to help Daemen defeat ECC rival D'Youville.

Chelsea Porga, Daemen
Sophomore | Welland, Ontario
Porga bowled in every game for Daemen at the Mercyhurst Invitational, totaling 968 pins through the first five matches of the traditional format. The Daemen sophomore averaged 193.6 pins per game during the first day, good for 10th overall for traditional format, and knocked down a season-high 211 pins against (RV) William Smith and ECC rival D’Youville. Porga led all ECC bowlers with a 20.10 overall pin average per frame.
Shelby Wunch, Kutztown
Junior | Easton, MD
Wunch captured All-Tournament honors with the third-best average during traditional play at last weekend's Mercyhurst Invitational. The Kutztown junior rolled two 200+ games while surpassing 1,000 pins total (1,030) to post a 206.0 average on Saturday. Wunch established a new career-high game with a 233 against Pitt-Bradford and registered a 17.31 Baker frame average with 20 strikes on Sunday as the Bears concluded the weekend with a 6-4 record.
