Men's Track Athlete of the Week
Jackson Doran, Roberts Wesleyan
Junior | Middle Distance | Lockport, N.Y.
Doran placed second in a mile field of 59 at the Golden Eagle Winter Welcome Back meet with a time of 4:14.64, a personal-best by six seconds. Converted to a 4:11.44, that time tops the ECC this season and ranks 27th across all of Division II.
Men's Field Athlete of the Week
Jayden Bennermon, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Jumps | Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Bennermon won the high jump in a field of 11 with a leap of 1.92m (6' 3 1/2”) at the Ramapo College Opener. The St. Thomas Aquinas senior also finished 10th in the triple jump field of 19 with a vault of 12.91m (42' 4 1/4”).
Women's Track Athlete of the Week
Kylee Odell, Roberts Wesleyan
Senior | Middle Distance | Panama, N.Y.
Odell won the mile in a field of 38 (5:07.16) at the Golden Eagle Winter Welcome Back meet with a personal-best time of 5:07.16. Converted to 5:04.15, that performance now tops the ECC by over 11 seconds and ranked 63rd across all of Division II.
Women's Field Athlete of the Week
Brynn King, Roberts Wesleyan
Graduate Student | Pole Vault | The Woodlands, Texas
King broke the all-time NCAA Division II national record in the indoor pole vault for the fifth and sixth times this season at the Golden Eagle Winter Welcome Back meet. With a mark of 4.60m (15' 1"), King has qualified for both the United States Olympic trials and United States Indoor Nationals. King now owns the top indoor pole vault mark out of all three NCAA divisions this season.

Devin Jones, Felician
Junior | Multi-Events | Toms River, N.J.
Jones recorded the highest Felician finish at the Collegeville Classic when he finished in second place in a long jump field of 33 (6.91m/22’ 8”). He added a fifth-place finish in the 60m finals (7.10).
Gianni Macchio, Molloy
Senior | Sprints | North Bellmore, N.Y.
Macchio won the 60m in a field of 36 at the Collegeville Classic, running a time of 6.99 seconds. The Molloy senior also set a personal-best in the long jump with a leap of 6.60m (21’ 8”), finishing fifth in a field of 33 to sit eighth in the ECC long jump rankings.
Emmanuel Mena Jimenez, St. Thomas Aquinas
Senior | Throws | West Haverstraw, N.Y.
Mena Jimenez took second place in a weight throw field of 14 with a toss of 18.51m (60' 8 3/4”) at the Ramapo College Opener. The St. Thomas Aquinas senior once again hit the NCAA Division II provisional mark for the event (18.09m) and owns the five best weight throw marks in the ECC this season. Mena Jimenez also finished sixth in the shot put field of 15 with a throw of 14.18m (46' 6 1/4”).
Jon Moote, Daemen
Senior | Wilson, N.Y.
Moote placed second out of 15 runners in the 3,000m at the Highlander Invitational with a school-record time of 9:03.93. Moote now owns four of the top-five finishes in the 3,000 meters in program history. The converted time of 8:57.68 sits sixth in the ECC.
Vincent Ohenhen, Staten Island
Junior | Sprints | Staten Island, N.Y.
Ohenhen set a new CSI program record this weekend when he placed 10th in a 200m field of 53 with a time of 22.28 at the NYC Gotham Cup. That time ties for first in the ECC.
Women's
Kayla Cooper, District of Columbia
Sophomore | Brooklyn, N.Y.
Cooper broke eight seconds three different times for 60m at the Robert Comstock Cardinal Track and Field Classic, running 7.95 in preliminaries before going on to run a season-best 7.89 in the semifinals and 7.93 in the finals, good for second place. In the 200m, the UDC sophomore clocked in at 26.43 to place sixth in the field of 49. Cooper’s 60m performance ranks first in the ECC while her converted 200m performance (26.03) ranks fifth.
Talia Ferguson, Felician
Senior | Multi-Events | Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.
Ferguson won the high jump in a field of eight (1.60m/5’ 3”) and placed second in the long jump field of 25 (5.43m/17' 9 3/4”) at the Collegeville Classic.
Imani Fitzpatrick, Felician
Sophomore | Sprints | Neptune, N.J.
Fitzpatrick won the 200m in a field of 57 (26.22) at the Collegeville Classic; converted to 25.82, that performance ranks second in the ECC. The Felician sophomore also ran the second leg of the 4x400m relay that clocked in at 4:07.80 to win the event in a field of 14 squads.
Tukey Francis, District of Columbia
Sophomore | St Ann, Jamaica
Francis clocked in at 1:00.75 in the 400m to finish sixth in a field of 28 at the Robert Comstock Cardinal Track and Field Classic. Converted to a 59.96, that performance ranks third in the ECC. Francis went on to run 26.36 for 200m, finishing fifth in a field of 49 to post the fastest Division II time at the meet. Converted to a 25.96, that performances ranks fourth in the ECC.
Hannah Thomas, Daemen
Graduate Student | Distance | Cheektowaga, N.Y.
Thomas placed first in the mile field of 24 (5:26.43) and second in the 800m field of 29 (2:26.41) during the Highlander Invitational. The Daemen graduate student has now placed first in four of the five races she has taken part in this season.
