ECC Unveils New Secondary Logo

Central Islip, N.Y. - The East Coast Conference revealed a new secondary logo this afternoon that now incorporates the league's moniker, ECC.  The new logo includes the star from the current primary logo and for the first time, includes just the "ECC" lettering.

"Since the conference's name was changed to the East Coast Conference in 2006, it has widely been regarded as the ECC," said ECC Commissioner, Dr. Robert Dranoff. "Until today, we've never had a logo that reflected this nickname for the conference. We're excited to introduce this new logo which will increase our conference's brand and exposure."

The new logo will be more versatile than the current primary logo, with use for select special event logos such as the newly created ECC Hall of Fame. The logo was also created in the league's 10 member  schools' color schemes. This will allow the logo to be seen on uniforms, athletic facility fields and courts, social media and digital streaming platforms, as well as for use on potential merchandise.

The ECC teamed up with Tim Rice of Royal Rooster Design Co. in Des Moines, Iowa to create the new logo. Administrators from ECC members schools also helped develop the new logo with input on the design and color schemes.

Dranoff also stated, "Thanks to Royal Rooster Design and to Casey Rafferty, our Assistant Commissioner, for working on this new exciting look that we believe will be associated from now on with our conference."
